When We Do What We Do...

Skyline holds our weekly worship service at 10 am in the main sanctuary every Sunday at 10 am. Dress is casual and feel free to get some coffee or tea on your way in to the sanctuary. Children are welcome in our santuary, but Kate DeJuliis, our staff nursery care provider, will be happy to look after your infant or toddler in our nursery, located on the lower level, just inside the main entrance.

We provide Christian Education for children from birth through the fifth grade during worship, which begins after the children's time in our worship service. This way, all of the children can enjoy the music and a special time with our pastors before being excused to enjoy a special age-appropriate Christian education experience in our lower level education wing, which continues through the end of the worship service.

We also hold several small groups and Bible studies on Sunday mornings prior to the worship service, from 9-10, for youth (Middle School and High School) and adults. During the summer (June-August), we do not hold youth classes Sunday mornings at 9, but they resume in the Fall (September).

During the Summer months, we hold three special worship services in our Grove Ampitheater, at the far edge of the lower level parking lot (accessed by a sidewalk), on June 29, July 27, and August 24. Following these worship services, we will enjoy a pot-luck picnic together. (In the event of rain, we will meet for worship in the main sanctuary and eat together in our foyer.)

In the Fall, Winter and Spring, we hold a youth-led worship service on the first Sunday evening of each month, at 8pm in our Chapel.

Every 2nd & 4th Sunday of the month, SUMC provides a church service to residents of Emily Bissell Nursing Home.

Throughout the week, we offer small groups, fellowship opportunities, ministry team meetings and rehearsals and missions/outreach opportunites that we announce in our worship bulletin/weekly newsletter, online, and on the bulletin boards in our foyer. Most of these groups are open to newcomers any time. To participate in any of these groups, contact the point of contact listed in the announcement, or contact our church office.

Our church office is staffed by Pat Foster, our pastoral administrative assistant, Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 1 pm.
