Guidelines for Dropping Off and Picking Up Children
from Sunday School and the Nursery
Effective September 7, 2003
If you are utilizing
the Nursery:
-
Please sign your child in on the sign-in
sheet and advise the Nursery staff of any allergies or anything that they need
to know about caring for your child.

Pick up a laminated number that will be
located next to the sign-in sheet and write the number on the sign-in sheet.
If the Nursery staff needs to reach you, your number will appear on the
PowerPoint screen during worship. If you see your number on the screen, please
return to the Nursery.

Please pick up your child as soon as is
convenient after worship and return the laminated number to the box.

When you pick up your child, you should
receive a feedback form of your child’s activities while in our care; please
ask for it if it is not given to you.

If someone other than the parent/guardian
will be picking up your child, please inform the Nursery staff.
If your child is
attending Sunday School:
-
Please accompany your child to the Sunday
School Registration/Sign-in table located just outside the Sanctuary. Please
complete the information on the “Sign-In” sheet. The SS Superintendent will
then provide your child with his/her name badge.

Please have your child accompany you to the
Sanctuary in order to participate in Children’s Time. Your child may either
sit with you, or sit at the front of the Sanctuary in the reserved area for
children. At the end of Children’s Time, the children will accompany the
Sunday School team downstairs to the classroom.

Please pick up your child as soon as is
convenient at the end of worship. Children will not be released to return to
the Sanctuary on their own and will not be released to a sibling.
Please note: Sunday School will begin immediately following Children’s Chapel.
ALL children will gather in the Sanctuary for praise music and children’s time
in order for the Sunday School team to prepare to receive children immediately
following children’s chapel.
