Our Vision:

Shepherds, in partnership with parents, called to guide children and youth into a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our Mission:

By setting a positive example of discipleship, we build a foundation of faith that emphasizes God's love for children and youth, and encourage them to respond to God's love in their everyday lives. We create a fun and caring environment that engages children and youth through Bible study, prayer, worship, music, missions, evangelism, and drama.

Our Goals:

1) We develop a personal relationship with each child.

2) We create an environment that generates contagious enthusiasm--children will want to come.

3) Through our programs, children and youth develop a basic Christian understanding that is age-appropriate.

4) We create disciples for Jesus Christ.

Dear Parents,

We are so blessed to have so many children here at Skyline, and are privileged to be able to help them grow in their relationship to Christ through our children’s ministry programs.

Though we know so many of your children by name and fa

ce, our church family will soon grow and we will not always be able to easily recognize some of the bright, shining faces who are placed in our care on Sunday mornings. We know that God will continue to bless our church family with new members and we will continue to grow as a family of faith; therefore, we now find it necessary to put into place practices that will ensure the safety of all of our children, and better enable us to reach and serve new families who visit.

Therefore, we ask for your help in completing the attached Sunday School Registration Form for each child that will participate in Sunday School this year. We will be preparing a permanent name badge for your child and would like to be able to present your child with his/her badge as soon as possible. Please complete the registration form online, or print it out, fill it out and and place it in the offering plate, or in the mail slot marked “Children’s Ministry” in the library.

Further, we have also implemented the attached Guidelines for drop off and pick-up of children that will help our team of volunteers get to know you and your child better.
