What a wonderful and glorious God we serve!
Oursummer program has been very successful and will end with a grand finale play on September 20th. The play will be performed during the service with festivities after in the foyer.
Come join us for the celebrationto end the summer program and kick off the fall '09 / spring '10 program. We are very excited this year to be offering an interactive, experiential learning program for the kids to reinforce the roots of Christianity and core Bible principles.
The theme for the upcoming season is Back for the Future. Back to Basics for the Future of Hope (i.e. the children).
The course will take the children (3-6) through the standard Old Testament and New Testament basics: Creation, Cain and Abel, Noah, Moses and the Armor of God. From a New Testament perspective, we will be introducing a series on Communion, as well as covering the basics: Jesus as Baby, Child and Savior, the Fruit of the Spirit. The Bible Detective program will continue to focus on classroom participation, behavior, focus and helping others.
The program for the older children will also be very interactive, including object lessons and discussion topics on how to incorporate Christian principals in every day life. The curriculum also includes a series on communion and learning about the Disciples. The Bible Detective program will be geared toward class participation in discussions, presenting information on a Disciple of the student’s choice and the “Bucs” rewards will be group activities such as a pizza party or movie outings.
Other activities planned for the year across all ages include the Heifer project, UNICEF collection boxes for Halloween and trips to Sight and Sound for age appropriate plays.
We will also be offering an opportunity for everyone to get involved in the Christmas Play.

If you are visiting the church, your children are welcome to come to Sunday School. We all participate in the opening worship in the Sanctuary, where the Pastor's provide a Children's Blessing. After which, the children gather in the Chapel downstairs. We sing together and then split into groups for the lesson/activity. We welcome you!
